Sedan is situated on business US-166 and K-99 in the beautiful Chautauqua hills of south-central Kansas. The City of Sedan is now accepting applications for Street Laborer who is responsible for performing a variety of manual labor tasks to maintain and improve the city infrastructure, public spaces, and municipal facilities. This position involves outdoor work in varying weather conditions and may require operating lights and heavy equipment. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, must have a valid driver's license, must be able to lift 50lbs or more, and perform physical labor for extended periods of time. Must be available for on-call work and after-hour emergency call outs. Position will be open till filled.
